Favorite Photo Friday: Just chilling

I noticed Brayden was very quiet for a while. This isn't normal. He is usually talking, laughing, screaming, running around, etc. So I went to see what he was doing and this is what I found:

He was just laying around chewing on a dino. I think he has more back teeth coming in. He's up to 18 total teeth.

Wordless(ish) Wednesday: Oreo eater

At age two Brayden eats Oreos like some adults do. He takes it apart immediately and starts eating the cream out of the center. Haha. It's so cute.

Coppin’s Hallmark Gifts: Happy Napper review and giveaway!

We've all seen the commercials for Happy Nappers, right? I have wanted one for Brayden since I saw them. So when someone from the amazing site Coppin's Hallmark Gifts emailed me and offered me a Happy Napper pillow I of course said yes.

Coppin's is a gift company with a huge website. This is definitely somewhere I would look for gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Their first store started in 1993 in Utah (they have added 6 stores since). In 1996 they opened their website and it has become one of the largest online Hallmark gift retailers in the United States. Coppin's has won awards, and top dealership status with many top gift brands including Precious Moments, Boyd's Bears, Willow Tree, Ty, Webkinz and more. As well as Happy Nappers they also sell DaVinci beads (which they are most known for), toggle bracelets, Jim Show Figurines, My Pillow Pets, Wubba Nubs and MUCH more!

We chose the Happy Napper Dragon and we love it! It's so cute and soft. It's very easy to unzip, pull the dragon out and zip it back in. I actually didn't know the pillows made sounds until Brayden pressed it and it made Dragon noises. That is great! Brayden thinks the dragon is a dino but he is only 2 after all. :P The Happy Napper Pillow costs $24.95. That is a great price!

You can find Coppin's Gifts on FacebookTwitter and their blog.

When you press the door bell it makes the dragon noises. So cute!

Coppin's Hallmark gifts is offering one of my lucky readers a Happy Napper of their choice!

Say and Play books review and giveaway!

I just did a review for Sterling Publishing. They are an amazing book company with so many different books. They have adult and kids branches of their companies. So far, we are loving their kids collection of books. This time we got to review the whole "Say and Play" series. They released this month. These are BY FAR my favorite books in Brayden's library now. He was so excited when I took them out of the box. He will look at them for hours over and over.

He names all the animals and objects that he knows. Reading these to him has expanded his vocabulary a little more. In the past he hasn't picked up much on colors yet but the "Colors" book taught him blue and green. He has even paired them with other words such as "blue boots". He also learned "boat" from the "Things that Go" book. He does call it a "butt" though. Hee hee. Reminds me of Finding Nemo. Anyways, I'm so proud of him and thankful to have these books for him.

The prices of these books are very affordable! Each one in the collection costs $4.95 (CAN $5.95) which makes it really easy to buy them all! The collection is 6 books total. One of my favorite things about these books is that they aren't short. Many board books don't have much in them. Not there! Each book has 28 pages. That's great! So much for Brayden to look at and learn from. We love these and highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They would make a perfect baby shower or birthday gift for a little one's library!

(Rarely but sometimes when Brayden's teeth hurt he chews on his books. I try to stop him immediately but I caught it late on these. Luckily he hasn't messed them up anymore. I promise they did not arrive damaged!)

Sterling Publishing would like to give one of my readers one of the books from the Say and Play series!

Brayden's 2nd birthday party!

The table cloth, banner, and dino table decor are from Windy City Novelties. You may remember the preview/review here.
He loved those dinos and wouldn't leave them on the table. He also stole the dino off his cake 3 times. I finally gave up and didn't put it back on. Haha.
 Brynna, Beth's daughter, coloring.

Menu: Tea, lemonade, juices, water, chips, potato salad (made by my awesome mom), mixed fruit, hot dogs (cooked in the Crockpot on low for 4 hours), sliders (rolls cut in half, 1 pound of ground beef broken up/browned then, mixed with half a block of Velveeta until melty), and dark chocolate cake with chocolate frosting decorated with Whoppers.. errr... rocks on the sides. Those burgers went fast! There is one missing from the picture. It was in Rj's belly.

The gift bag and coloring book also from Windy City Novelties. My mom got the bubbles from Oriental Trading. Brayden and I made the crayon.
Coloring pages my mom printed off. All the crayons on the floor are ones he already used. Haha.
Present time! His new Leaptop my mom and Jeannie got him. He LOVES it. You can program it and it has Scout on it. He loves Scout.
Legos from Casey. I thought I got a picture of her daughters while they were here but oops, guess not!

Can you tell he likes his Leaptop?
Rj was reading him his cards and showing him his presents. He was distracted. :P He loves all of his gifts though and has played with each one many times already. Thank you, everyone!

The little phone Beth, Brynna and Josh got him. :)
Emails from Scout are serious business.
Opening his Weebles house that Rj and I got him. We also got him lots of books that he opened up before his party. We plan on getting him lots of Weebles for Christmas this year.

 Cake time!
Singing Happy Birthday. (Idk why I kept my hands on my sides the whole time.. Seriously..)

Eating Whoppers he stole off the cake.

Grandma AKA "Goggle" coloring with him. :)
Brynna wore Peppy out carrying her around the whole party. :P
From Grandma Bobbie. Such cute outfits!
Playing after everyone left. He had SO MUCH fun. Thank you everyone who came! We had a blast!
