Educational Toys Planet: Gradient Sorter review!

I am really excited to tell all of my readers about an amazing website they may not know about. Educational Toys Planet is exactly what it sounds like. They have SO MANY different toys that will help my boys and your children learn and develop. I am really impressed by their huge selection of toys. There are so many in the two year old section that I would love to get for Brayden. We received the Gradient Sorter Wooden Learning Toy (Guidecraft brand). It can be found in the shapes and colors section, as well as countless other shape toys. The toy we received is on sale right now. It's originally $29.97, marked down to $21.97 so you save 27%! I love sales. You can get even more!

He was anxious to play with it. He kept grabbing the toy and saying "I want it out" over and over.

He immediately took it apart and put it back together repeatedly.

Getting creative.

About the sorter: Match, sort, stack! The Gradient Sorter Wooden Learning Toy by Guidecraft gives your toddlers everything they need to explore shapes, colors and construction fun. Featuring a unique nesting design, this set from Educational Toys Planet allows your child to match together circles, squares, ovals and triangles. Guidecraft’s Gradient Sorter Wooden Learning Toy includes a smooth wooden tray and 12 colorful shape blocks that can be nested together or stacked up high. The entire set is made from eco-friendly rubberwood and stained with low VOC aniline dyes. Guidecraft’s durable toddler activity set also meets the highest safety standards, making it perfect for all young children. Enhance your motor skills and problem solving skills while having tons of fun. Start sorting away! Age: 2 years+ Dimensions: 9.25 x 11.25 x 2.45 inches. Skills: Color and Size Recognition, Shape Sorting, Manipulative Skills, Hand/Eye Coordination, Thinking Skills

What we thought: Right away he wanted to play with the sorter. He LOVES solving puzzles, sorting, stacking, naming colors and shapes. This was the perfect toy for him to do that with. I love that the toy is made from wood and dyed safely. One negative is something that Rj said, which is that all of the color transitions of the blocks make sense except the orange. It goes from orange to really red, not a darker orange. I don't mind that but maybe it could be confusing for an older child? Regardless, we love the toy! It's perfect for Brayden and I know Lincoln will enjoy it in the future. It's a perfect toy to help develop motor skills.

Their site is extremely easy to use. You can narrow it down by age. It makes it really simple to find the perfect toy for your little one. You can also narrow it down by interest or price. They even have free shipping for orders over $75. I am absolutely getting Christmas and birthday presents for my boys from Educational Toys Planet. They have gift certificates as well. ;) You can find them on Facebook and Twitter. They also have a email newsletter that you can sign up for to get coupons and news.

Sunday Snapshot: Brayden the doctor

My sister, Kristy, got Brayden a doctor kit from the Dollar Tree a while back. I got behind on editing pictures/other blog stuff. Then, Brayden got sick for time, besides a cold. He got the stomach flu. He threw up a lot (first time) and had to get a shot. It's still going away. :/ I got a new laptop recently so I'm back and I'm ready to post a bunch!

Tiny Love: My Nature Pals Stroll and Pack & Go Mini Mobile review

Tiny Love is an amazing company that makes products for infants. I have done a couple reviews for them already. They make mobilesplay matsnappers, and many other toys/products. They specialize in developmental toys to help your baby learn and discover with. You can look through their site easily by category or even by age group.

Tiny Love launched their My Nature Pals™ Collection last year. It's a nature collection which features adorable nature pals and a fetching green design. We received the My Nature Pals™ Stroll and also, the Pack & Go Mini Mobile. They match the Gymini I previously reviewed.

My Nature Pals™ Stroll: It caters to two stages of development: batting and sensory exploration (0m+) as well as pulling for cause & effect learning (5m+). The arch is flexible. It bends forwards, backwards, up and down. It has 6 different baby-activated toys for fun on-the-go. 0-12 months. It only costs $19.99. I think that is an amazing price. I love how bright, colorful and interactive the bar is. I do wish that it had some music on it because both of my boys have been music lovers. It does make sounds though when Lincoln hits the toys. It also bends easily, which I like. You can put it on both a stroller and a car seat. It is a tad on the bulky side but it has a lot of toys to play with.

Pack & Go Mini Mobile: It stimulates baby's senses and curiosity. The bell-shaped wind chime makes pleasant sounds in response to touch. It has basic patterns and colors to attract baby's attention. It easily folds away to be carried anywhere. 0-12 months. It costs $14.99. I love how affordable their toys are! This toy compacts very easily then, you can arrange the top part to form the mobile. Lincoln likes reaching at it and hitting it. It makes noises when he hits it but they don't startle him like some toys do. The mobile has a hook so you an attach it to anything for your baby to play with. I wish this one came with different ways to hook it other than the claw but I still love the mobile.

You can find them on FacebookTwitter and they also have a newsletter (right hand corner) you can sign up for!

Stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway for the My Nature Pals Stroll- stroller arch!

Up On The Hill store: Rumparooz review!

I love when I get to talk to and work with business owners. Amii from Up On The Hill is no exception. She is so nice and easy to work with. Up On The Hill is a store that sells cloth diapers, baby wearers, toys, mommy products, and even clothes. I really enjoyed looking at all the items that Amii handpicked for her awesome store. I am extremely impressed with how many cloth diaper brands this store has (almost 20!) We got the chance to receive a Rumparooz cloth diaper. I have always wanted to try one, just never had. We received one with snaps and I was really excited to try it.

About the Rumparooz diaper:
These cloth diapers are the ORIGINAL and ONLY cloth diapers uniquely designed with the patent pending leak protection technology of dual inner gussets (double inner gussets). The inside of each diaper is designed with 2 gentle inner gussets, a double barrier, that channels each leg. I love this. I have had a few diapers in the past that don't quite hold in around the legs area. All Kanga Care products have been lovingly invented by a mother in Colorado and distributed world wide out of Golden, Colorado. The Rumparooz® are a Kanga Care product which means they are part of the ONLY family of products that contain the patent pending dual inner gussets. The Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper goes from birth (6 lbs) to potty training (35+ lbs) in one set of diapers. This means that the same diapers you buy for your baby to wear home from the hospital are the same diapers you child will potty train out of. No need to buy a set of 24 diapers each time your baby needs the next size up. The Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will save you around $300.00+ over sized cloth diapers. Each diaper comes with a free microfiber "Rumparooz 6r Soaker". This unique and super thirsty insert will grow with the diaper and has 6 different size and absorbency settings to customize for your babies need. The 6r Soaker also has custom settings for the different areas that girls and boys need absorption most. The diapers and inserts are even biodegradable!

Sizing:
Newborn setting starts at 6 lbs
Small setting starts at 10 lbs
Medium setting starts at 15 lbs (This is what Lincoln is on.)
Large setting (fully un-snapped) starts around 20 lbs and will fit up to 35-40 lbs. (This is what Brayden is on.)

Medium setting.
A good photo of the gussets.
 Stuffed.

What we thought: The diaper and the store did not disappoint! I love this diaper. The fit is great. Lincoln wore this diaper for over 3 hours with ZERO leaks. This would be a great night time diaper. The gussets really hold in everything and fit great around the baby's legs. I absolutely love the 6r soaker. I have never seen anything like it before. I love the different settings, the snaps on the inserts, and how easy the diaper is to stuff. I highly recommend this diaper and the Up On The Hill store!

You can find them on Facebook and TwitterStay tuned for an upcoming giveaway for any one diaper from the Up On The Hill store!
