Wordless(ish) Wednesday: Thanksgiving 2012!

I just got done editing the Thanksgiving photos. I swear, there isn't enough time in the day. Anyways, this year Rj went to his dad's and then, stopped by his mom's house. This year I went to my mom's house with the kids. We had a ton of food. Brayden thought the way my mom's deviled eggs were done that they were cupcakes. Haha. Great day!

Eating mashed potatoes with his hands even though he clearly has a spoon. Lol.

An attempted picture of grandma with her babies. Brayden fail. :P

They were roaring.

We hope that everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

He is learning his letters and numbers but not in a certain order. He is learning them by sight. Numbers he can say: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9. He can count to five. Letters he can say: A, B, C, D, E, F, H, I, K, L, M, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, X, Y and Z. He can do letter/number puzzles without even flinching. He recognizes all numbers and letters but can't say all of them yet.

He speaks in simple sentences, nothing too long or detailed yet. When he doesn't say sentences it's often "pretend" sentences like "hi mommy, odf kfjdkjf fkjfj fkjnjf doggy in house". It's as if he is trying to make it sound like a sentence. Haha. It's really cute. He says WELL over 200 words now.

He can finally fit his 2T pants comfortably in length. He is wearing 2T-5T shirts. He wears a size 9-10 shoe.

He's been going to sleep between 8-11 and waking up between 8-10. He still wakes up in the middle of the night some times and comes to our room.

He has gotten super picky with his eating again. He pretty much just wants sweets and other stuff that isn't great for him. :/ I keep offering him real food but most of the time he doesn't eat it. He still has an aversion to meat.

He loves his baby brother. He calls him "my baby". He calls Linc's bottle "my baby's juice". Whenever Lincoln cries he tries to put the pacifier or the bottle in his mouth. It's really sweet. He also pets his brother's hair. Haha.

His absolute favorite thing on the planet is cats. He calls them "mow mows" (like meow but without the me part). We have a show called "Too cute" recorded on the DVR because he requests them everyday.

He spends most of his time playing with toys (usually stuffed animals or Mega Bloks), looking at books and chasing/playing with the dogs. He still loves being outside. He gets stir crazy pretty easily. Then, he tells me "I want out" or "I wanna go".

He's growing up really fast. He's very independent. He prefers doing things himself if he knows how. He is extremely strong willed. It's the Leo in him. ;)

Baby Magic review!

Not too long ago I received some products from Baby Magic to try and couldn't wait to try them. Baby Magic is a company that makes many different baby/kids toiletries. I have seen their products in many store but hadn't tried them. They have a "where to buy" on their site. I plugged in my address and found 3 stores within 5 miles! I love that their products are so easy to find and it's not required that you get them online. They are also very affordable! They have bath products, grooming products, treatments and even gift baskets! They have all their products ingredients listed on their website, which is something that impresses me. I prefer to know what I am putting on my babies.

We received their Gentle Baby Lotion (Original Scent). It's rich, non-greasy and absorbs quickly. It's enriched with vitamins and aloe. It's hypoallergenic, gluten free, an all-day moisturizer, dermatologist tested and available in 30oz, 16.5oz, 9oz, 2oz. The scent is really fresh and the lotion is very gentle. The lotion also really helped with Lincoln's flaky newborn skin.

We also received their Calming Baby Bath (Lavender and Chamomile). This baby bath wash has pure lavender and chamomile extracts. It's hypoallergenic, tear-free, dye-free, pH balanced, gluten free, enriched with vitamins and aloe, dermatologist tested and available in 30oz, 16.5oz, 9oz. I love the smell. I love that the scent lingers for a long time. The Lavender and Chamomile also relax Lincoln so it's perfect before bedtime.

Lincoln's first bath at home. :)

His flaky baby skin. He also had peeling on his toes. With just a few uses of the lotion his skin isn't like that anymore. His hands and feet are well moisturized.

We definitely recommend Baby Magic to all of our friends and readers. You can find them on Facebook and Twitter! They also have a newsletter you can subscribe to on their website as well as an online magazine on their site with articles to read that are really interesting/helpful.

Wordless(ish) Wednesday- Our week!

Well, Lincoln is one week old, as of today. Brayden is two years and three months old, as of today (his update will be done soon). We've had a pretty good but hectic week. It's not as crazy as I expected but we certainly need to adjust. It's really hard for me to get updates/posts done since my laptop broke but I am trying. I have lots of reviews and etc coming soon. Anyways, onto our week in photos.

 Little red head.

(He has a clogged tear duct like Brayden had. We got ointment for it today.)
